505 Games Previews Rugby Game

The full version of the game will hit stores and consoles August 26, while the demo hit Xbox Live and PlayStation Network last week, offering players the ability to test the game and, for the first time, challenge other players to one-on-one matches online.

The game features the Rugby World Cup 2011 USA team strip, team roster and emblem within the game, which will feature feature HD presentation detail extending to the inclusion of thigh tape, wrist tape, finger tape and scrum caps.

“As with any sports title, we feel authenticity is key with Rugby World Cup 2011, and with that in mind, the involvement of USA Rugby was an essential element of this title,” says Ian Howe, president, 505 Games.
