Penguin to Publish New Snowman Title

The classic children’s title is getting a reboot for its ruby anniversary.

NORTH AMERICA–Children’s author Michael Morpugo has partnered with Penguin Random House Children’s to write a new novel that re-imagines Raymond Brigg’s classic title The Snowman.

Originally published in 1978 as a picture book, The Snowman is narrated entirely through illustration. The new edition will celebrate the book’s 40th anniversary with an updated chapter book targeted at middle grade readers.

The Snowman by Michael Morpurgo will be published in hardback this October, and is currently available for pre-order.
